Erika Schachle, CPA, promoted to Audit Senior Manager: Schachle is a Senior Manager in RKL’s Audit Services Group, serving a wide range of not-for-profit organizations. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from West Chester University, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Schachle lives in Spring Grove.
Melissa Long, CPA, promoted to Audit Senior Manager: Long is a Senior Manager in RKL’s Audit Services Group, where she is responsible for completing various areas of the audit, supervising engagement staff members, and communicating with clients to meet objectives within time constraints. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and earned her B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Economics from West Chester University. Long lives in Mount Joy, PA with her husband and daughter.
Michelle Frye, CPA, promoted to Audit Senior Manager: Frye is a Senior Manager in the Audit Services Group, with extensive experience serving the accounting and auditing needs of not-for-profit organizations. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and earned her B.S. in Accounting from Elizabethtown College. She lives in Elizabethtown, PA.
Patricia Karpowicz, CRCM, promoted to Audit Manager: Karpowicz is a Manager in RKL’s Audit Services Group, providing risk, compliance and internal audit services for clients in the financial services industry, mainly focusing on banks and credit unions. She received her B.B.A. in Management and Marketing from Temple University and is a member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Risk Management Association. Karpowicz lives in Pottstown, PA, with her husband and son.
Adam Fye, CPA, promoted to Tax Manager: Fye is a Manager in RKL’s Tax Services Group, where he serves businesses in a wide range of industries with a focus on multi-state tax compliance and international tax regulations. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he holds a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance from West Chester University. He lives in Malvern, PA, with his girlfriend and their dog.
Alexander Moran, CPA, promoted to Tax Manager: Moran is a Manager in RKL’s Tax Services Group, where he serves a variety of clients with a specialization in fiduciary taxation of trusts, estates and gifting. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Bloomsburg University and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Moran resides in Reading, PA.
Kevin Wilcox, CPA, promoted to Tax Manager: Wilcox serves as a Manager in RKL’s Tax Services Group, where he focuses on taxation of pass-through entities and their owners. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Messiah University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Wilcox lives in Newark, DE, with his fiancée and daughter.
Joel Harnly, CPA, promoted to Tax Senior Manager: Harnly is a Senior Manager in RKL’s Tax Services Group. He works with companies and their owners to identify tax savings opportunities and plan for future efficiencies and growth. He has a B.S. in Accounting from Elizabethtown College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Harnly lives in Manheim, PA with his wife and four children.
Kristin Barshinger, CPA, promoted to Tax Senior Manager: Barshinger is a Senior Manager in RKL’s Tax Services Group. In her role, she provides tax compliance and consulting services to businesses, with a focus on cost segregation, fixed assets and pass-through entities. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Messiah University, and is a member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Barshinger lives in Denver, PA with her husband and two children.

Holly Schultz, CPA, MAcc, promoted to Small Business Manager: Schultz is a Manager in RKL’s Small Business Services Group. In her role, she provides accounting and tax services to a variety of industries, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution and franchises. She received her bachelor’s degree and Master of Accounting from York College of PA, and is a member of both American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She lives in Southern York County, PA.
Jeremy Schultz, CPA, promoted to Small Business Manager: Schultz is a Manager in the Small Business Services Group, where he provides tax services and reviews and complies financial statements. He earned a B.S.B.A. in both Accounting and Finance from Kutztown University. He lives in Dublin, PA, with his wife and son.
Nolan Myers, CPA, promoted to Small Business Senior Manager: Myers is a Senior Manager in the Small Business Services Group. In his role, he provides accounting, attestation and tax services to companies in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution and real estate development and construction. Tyler Morris, promoted to Senior Consultant: Morris is a Senior Consultant in RKL’s Business Consulting Services Group, where he focuses on Transaction Advisory Services. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Millersville University. Lacy Albright, promoted to Medical Billing Manager: Albright is a Medical Billing Manager in RKL’s Senior Living Services Group. In her role, he works with senior living providers to optimize their medical billing process and maximize reimbursement from third-party payers. Albright lives in Camp Hill, PA, with her husband, son and two dogs.
Paula Hynum, promoted to Senior Living Senior Consultant: Hynum is a Senior Consultant in the Senior Living Services Consulting Group. In her role, she provides services including revenue cycle review, PointClickCare implementation and support service, database reviews for efficient utilization of financial software, business office training and support, AR reviews and medical billing. She earned her B.S.B.A. in Management from Shippensburg University. Hynum lives in Elizabethtown, PA.
Nicole Hieber, MBA, promoted to Controller: Hieber is a Controller for RKL Virtual Management Solutions, where she specializes in automation, peer development and provides financial management services to clients.
