Growing up in a family owned business household gave Ryan Hurst a firsthand appreciation for the hard work involved in running a successful company. Over the course of his 18-year career, this perspective proved valuable as Ryan carved out a professional niche of helping owners identify their vision for the future of their businesses and translating that vision into reality.
A Partner in RKL’s Business Consulting Services Group, Ryan oversees the firm’s suite of financially oriented consulting capabilities, including transaction advisory, valuation, litigation, succession planning and forensic accounting. He leads workforce development, client experience and quality control initiatives in these service areas. Ryan also plays a key role in the firm’s Private Wealth continuum of wealth management, tax and advisory solutions for high-net-worth families and individuals.
Ryan is also an in-demand transaction consultant specializing in mergers, acquisitions, succession planning, valuation, employee stock ownership plans and strategic alternatives analyses. He starts every business and ownership transition with a transparent discussion around the owner’s goals and priorities. This approach allows Ryan to deliver the utmost value and earn the trust of his clients during what can be a complex stage in a company’s lifecycle.
“My goal throughout my career has been to help business owners look up from the daily grind and consider the big picture view of their company and what it does and can do for them.”
