One of the most significant ways in which RKL invests in our communities is the annual United Way giving campaigns in each of our offices. The United Way’s mission of advancing the common good is a rallying cry for RKL team members, who pledge financial support for the local Lancaster, York, Capital Region and Berks chapters.
In 2016, the Reading team received its second consecutive Eagle Award from the United Way of Berks County in recognition of its sustained support. The firm saw marked improvement across all its offices in team member participation and overall amounts pledged, but we’re proud to note our support goes far beyond the numbers. Throughout the year, team members serve on several local chapter boards and RKL volunteers are first in line to help with community improvement projects as part of the United Way Days of Caring or Action.
