At its Annual Meeting on June 21, 2021, the United Way of York County presented RKL Partner Hunter Mink with its 2021 Volunteer of the Year Award. Each year, the organization recognizes volunteer leaders like Mink who make significant contributions to its efforts and initiatives to build a stronger, caring community.
A lifelong York County resident, Mink has long been active with the United Way of York County. He sits on the organization’s Campaign Cabinet and chaired its 2020 Annual Campaign, leading York County’s largest annual giving initiative at a time of massive disruption and increased need due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to his volunteer leadership with the United Way of York County, Mink also serves as board member, treasurer and finance committee chair for the Farm and Natural Lands Trust of York County. He is a current member and past president of the York East Rotary Club and a graduate of the Leadership York program. Mink frequently contributes his time and talent to future generations as a volunteer facilitator for Junior Achievement of South Central PA’s classroom financial literacy programs.
