Allyson Hornbaker uncovered her passion for accounting early in her academic career, realizing she could meld her attention to detail with an affinity for personal interaction to deliver positive results for clients. More than two decades later, Allyson’s dedicated service to the senior living and nonprofit industries place her among the region’s most trusted advisors to providers and organizations.
A Partner in RKL’s Audit Services Group, Allyson delivers assurance and management advisory services to clients, including financial statement audits and assistance with government reimbursement and HUD-sponsored projects. She is experienced in preparing annual Medicaid and Medicare cost reports for not-for-profit and for-profit senior living providers. Allyson also has deep experience conducting employee benefit plan audits and helping plan administrators and managers ensure proactive compliance with applicable regulations.
Allyson remains on the forefront of industry trends and issues through active involvement with trade associations, including LeadingAge PA and the Not-for-Profit and Ethics Committees of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
