Property and facilities represent some of the biggest investments a company can make, and Deb Rock has more than two decades of experience deploying tax strategies to help offset these costs through accelerated depreciation deductions. Her detail-oriented personality and knack for solving puzzles make each engagement a new challenge, requiring research, assessment and application of complex tax regulations to drive measurable benefits for clients.
As leader of RKL’s Cost Segregation Practice, Deb and her team of tax consultants help companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic leverage cost segregation and other tax saving strategies to increase cash flow. Deb earned the Certified Cost Segregation Professional designation in 2019, which places her among the nation’s leading practitioners. Her expertise also includes other areas of Sections 179 D and 45L and fixed asset planning, such as fixed asset reviews, Section 179 Small Business Asset Expensing, bonus depreciation, qualified improvement property and the capitalization rules under the tangible asset regulations.
“I value the opportunity to build a connection with my clients and help guide them through decisions and planning opportunities that will have a long-term impact on their organization.”
