Michael is a Partner in RKL’s Tax Services Group. In this role, he specializes in tax planning and tax compliance services for closely-held businesses and individuals. Michael has experience in working with real estate entities, professional service businesses and large family groups where he provides planning and advisory services for entity structuring, transactions, income projections and annual tax planning.
Before joining RKL in 2021, Michael worked at a Maryland-based accounting firm for over seven years and as a public-school teacher prior to entering public accounting. With years in the classroom followed by a transition to tax services, Michael excels in breaking down tax and accounting concepts for his clients.

Michael lives in New Freedom with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and running marathons.
