When Michael Buhrman followed his affinity for problem solving and planning into the accounting profession, he knew he wanted to focus on helping his hometown of Chambersburg thrive. A Partner in RKL’s Small Business Services Group, Mike delivers tax planning and compliance and assurance services to pass-through entities, nonprofits and public sector organizations. He also specializes in helping businesses in a variety of industries, including rental real estate, manage their multi-state and cross-border tax reporting obligations.
In his role as Managing Partner for RKL’s Chambersburg office, he leads office operations and drives continued growth in the Franklin and Adams County markets.

Mike lives in Chambersburg with his wife, Elizabeth, son, Landon, and daughter, Finley. He enjoys spending time watching his children compete in basketball and soccer, and also watching Michigan football and Siena basketball.
