Robin Alexander, CPA, MST, promoted to Tax Senior Manager: Alexander specializes in C Corporation, pass-through and individual taxation. She joined the firm in July 2019 and previously served as Tax Manager. Alexander is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in Taxation from Villanova University. A resident of Camp Hill, PA, Alexander serves as Treasurer and sits on the Executive Committee for the National Civil War Museum.
Dawn Baughman, RAC-CT, WTA, promoted to Senior Clinical Consultant: Baughman previously served as Clinical Consultant in RKL’s Senior Living Services Consulting Group. She helps senior living providers throughout the nation achieve their objectives and succeed in a changing environment. Baughman’s healthcare industry experience includes 26 years as a nurse and a Minimum Data Set Coordinator role at a Pennsylvania skilled nursing facility. She is a certified Wound Treatment Associate and a member of the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination. Baughman is a graduate of the Franklin County CTC Practical Nursing Program. She resides in East Earl, PA.
Brayden Campbell, CFP®, promoted to Senior Wealth Advisor: Campbell joined RKL Wealth Management in 2018 and previously served as a Wealth Advisor. He provides clients with sophisticated investment and wealth management advice and implements strategies and objectives to achieve their unique financial and personal goals. Campbell holds the Certified Financial Planner Certificate from the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards and a B.S. in Business Administration from American University. He resides in Palmyra, PA.
Renee Chico, CPA, CCBIA, promoted to Risk Management Senior Manager: Chico previously served as Manager in RKL’s Financial Services Industry Group. She provides and manages internal audit and other professional services to financial institution clients including banks and credit unions. Chico’s more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience includes management and leadership roles, such as Chief Financial Officer, at financial institutions ranging from global entities to regional banks and credit unions. A Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor, Chico belongs to the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Chico holds a B.S. in Accounting from West Chester University and resides in Chester Springs.
Emerson Eckrote, CPA, promoted to Audit Manager: Previously a Senior Associate in RKL’s Audit Services Group, Eckrote delivers assurance services to clients ranging from senior living facilities to not-for-profit organizations, with the goal of helping them manage risk, improve financial performance and streamline reporting processes. His expertise includes financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits and monthly accounting services. Eckrote joined RKL in 2018 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University and resides in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Joel Harnly, CPA, promoted to Tax Manager: Harnly works with closely held and family owned businesses to identify tax savings opportunities and plan for future efficiencies and growth. He also specializes in advising individuals and farmers on tax compliance and general business matters. Harnly previously served as a Tax Senior Associate and his professional tenure includes six years in public accounting and prior experience in agricultural management. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Elizabethtown College and belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A Manheim resident, Harnly serves as board member and treasurer of the Manheim Community Life Group.
Michael Martinsky, CPA, promoted to Audit Manager: Martinsky oversees assurance engagements, including staffing, scheduling, quality control and more, and works closely with his clients to solve complex business issues or seize opportunities uncovered during the audit process. Martinsky serves a diverse range of organizations, with a focus on the manufacturing, financial services and not-for-profit sectors. He also conducts audits of employee benefit plans. Martinsky has five years of public accounting experience, all with RKL, and previously served as a Senior Associate. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Kutztown University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Martinsky resides in Wyomissing, PA.
Steven Matus, CFE, CCBRS, promoted to Risk Management Senior Manager: Matus provides and manages internal audit and other professional services to financial institution clients including banks and credit unions. He previously served as Manager in RKL’s Financial Services Industry Group. Before joining the firm in 2019, Matus held leadership roles in the financial industry, including VP Internal Audit Manager at a $5 billion credit union and Audit Supervisor for a $4 billion financial institution headquartered in the greater Philadelphia area. Matus earned his B.S. in Accounting from Widener University and is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Community Bank Risk Specialist. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Credit Union Internal Auditors. He sits on the board of Youth Mentoring Partnership and resides in Aston, PA.
Jennifer Mitchell, CPA, MAcc, promoted to Risk Management Manager: Previously a Senior Associate in RKL’s Financial Services Industry Group, Mitchell specializes in helping credit unions implement accounting best practices. She also audits consumer and member business loans. Mitchell brought more than two decades of bookkeeping and accounting experience when she joined RKL in 2016, including tenures as a bank commercial credit analyst and commercial real estate portfolio analyst for a Fortune 500 company. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Internal Auditors and the Risk Management Association. Mitchell earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Central Penn Business College and Master of Accountancy from the University of Scranton. She resides in Perry County and serves as treasurer, chair of the finance committee and board member for the Perry County Council of the Arts.
Nolan Myers, CPA, promoted to Small Business Manager: Myers provides accounting, attestation and tax services to manufacturing, distribution and real estate development companies. He also manages the individual tax needs of business owners and their families and works on employee benefit plan and 401(k) audits. Myers previously served as a Senior Associate and has more than four years of public accounting experience, all of them with RKL. He earned his B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Grove City College and is currently enrolled in the Leadership York’s Leadership Training Program. Myers is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He serves as assistant treasurer and trustee of First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster and volunteers with Junior Achievement of South Central PA school programs. Myers resides in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Diana Ricci, CPA, promoted to Audit Manager: As a Manager in RKL’s Audit Services Group, Ricci provides audit, reporting and other professional services to clients in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution and construction. She specializes in financial reporting and auditing employee benefit plans. Ricci joined RKL in 2016 as an intern and most recently served as a Senior Associate. She belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves as the Finance Advisor for the Phi Mu Fraternity – Phi Eta Chapter at York College of Pennsylvania. Ricci holds a B.S. in Accounting and is currently pursuing her MBA from York College. She is a graduate of the Leadership York’s Leadership Training Program and a resident of York.
Daniel Ruppert, CPA, promoted to Small Business Manager: Ruppert provides compiled and reviewed financial statements for a variety of industries, including construction and not-for-profit organizations. He also prepares tax returns for businesses and individuals. Ruppert joined RKL in 2018, bringing two years of public accounting experience, and most recently served as a Senior Associate in the firms Small Business Services Group. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Immaculata University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He lives in Lancaster City.
Kerrie Wesley, J.D., MBA, promoted to Tax Senior Manager: Wesley identifies and captures the maximum federal and state Research and Development (R&D) tax credits for U.S. companies in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, tool and die, construction, architecture, mechanical contractors and agriculture. She previously served as an R&D Credit Manager since joining RKL in 2018. Wesley’s professional experience includes time spent in the management and tax consulting industry, with a special focus on R&D tax incentives. She earned her B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology and MBA from Texas Tech University and her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. Wesley is a member of the Texas Bar Association and resides in Austin, TX.
