Maxwell has extensive experience in public accounting and the industry, having worked in various finance roles, from Senior Accountant to Controller and CFO. He also ran his own fractional practice before joining Kauffman, which later merged with RKL.
Studying accounting allowed Maxwell to specialize in a field that has long-term demand. Listening and communication are two skills he believes are deeply important, and are skills that he leverages on a daily basis in order to foster relationships.
Maxwell spent most of his career in the manufacturing industry. This is an area where he can provide value to both clients and the firm.
Maxwell believes that a trusted advisor is one who has cultivated the relationship to the point where the relationship has migrated from consultant, to partner, to confidant.
Maxwell lives in Lancaster with his wife and two daughters. They enjoy sports, traveling and being with family. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time. It’s a sport that one can never master while fostering relationships with other players.
